adidas recently launched a new golf shoe for men and women and I must say, it looks spectacular! The new CODECHAOS is a golf shoe that combines good looks with the latest in footwear technology. CODECHAOS Golf Shoes offer a snug, sock-like feel that supports your foot and delivers form fitting comfort for your entire round. The shoe is engineered to evenly distribute weight and pressure while providing optimal cushioning and long-lasting comfort.
CODECHAOS features a full-length BOOST Midsole with the Torsion-X Stability Bar returns endless amounts of energy for maximum comfort. Flip the shoe over and you’ll see the CHAOS Traction outsole with TwistGrip technology. Twistgrip was created using heat maps to determine how golfers focus their weight during the motion of the golf swing. This new spikeless outsole delivers incredible stability, grip and performance and keeps you connected to the ground regardless of the weather.
The upper in the CodeChaos consists of a multi-layer mesh which gives the shoe a unique texture; it is both durable and breathable, and still lightweight. Each layer is encased in a film which ensures waterproof protection and keeps your feet dry regardless of the weather. CodeChaos offers a manufacturer’s 2-year waterproof warranty. CodeChaos is available for men and women in lace-up and BOA models. Men’s lace-up have three colorways (Cloud White/Signal Green/Glory Blue, Cloud White/Metal Grey/Light Solid Grey and Grey Three/Cloud White/Core Black. Women have a couple of color choices lace-ups: Metal Grey/Crystal White/Purple Tint and Cloud White/Cloud White/Signal Green.
Women’s BOA color choices include: Core Black/Signal Green/Cloud White and Cloud White/Silver Metallic/Signal Coral. The Men’s BOA is a whole different animal and a rarity in the world of golf footwear; a high-top design! The Men’s CODECHAOS BOA has the same midsole and outsole but utilizes a Primeknit upper with a stretch-knit collar for a lightweight slip-on design which delivers a locked-in feeling. The new BOA model is available in Cloud White/Grey One/Solar Red and my personal favorite Core Black/Signal Green/Cloud White.
Pricewise, these great looking shoes aren’t going to break the bank. Women’s models run $130 – $150 while the men’s only will set you back $150 – $180. You can read all about them and order a pair at www.adidas.com.
