Lacoste Fall 2019 – A Whole New Look

With the advent of the fall golf season, Lacoste is a brand that needs to be considered when upgrading your fall wardrobe. Lacoste is probably better known for their tennis apparel but from what I’ve seen from their fall collection, there’s a lot of crossover from golf to tennis apparel.

Novak Djokovic is one of, if not the best, tennis player in the world and Lacoste is doubling down on the Djokovic name by creating a line of tennis apparel with his name. That being said, the Lacoste Novak Djokovic Ceremony Track Jacket is also a great choice for golf. This lightweight layering piece is made from a stretchy material that affords freedom of movement and the Ultra Dry fabric wicks away sweat keeping you cool and dry. The Ceremony Track Jacket features a full-length zipper with a contrasting zipper track and zipper garage and a stand-up collar. The contrasting mesh inserts on the sleeves and side panels offer added breathability while the dual front zippered pockets will keep all contents safe, secure and dry. There’s a heat transfer logo on the left shoulder, a Djokovic signature logo on the left sleeve and an embroidered crocodile logo on the left chest. This jacket is comfortable and looks great on and off the court.

If your style tendencies take you slightly out of the norm, you’ll want to check out the Sport Light Stretch Plaid Golf Pants. These classy looking pants are sewn from Lacoste’s Gabardine fabric which is comfortable in warmer weather. The zip fly and button closure make them easy to get on and off and the slash front pockets provide ample storage for golf necessities. The back pockets will accommodate most scorecards and the croc transfer print above the front right pocket identifies the brand. The all-over plaid print is flowing and elegant and screams golf.

Another great cool weather piece is Lacoste’s SPORT Breathable UV Protection Golf Sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is sewn form a stretch fabric with UV sunblock and is engineered for performance with a breathable quick-drying mid layer. An ergonomic zip collar with contrast band and sporty raglan sleeves complete the look. The front zip pockets are concealed in the seams and the large Lacoste logo on the back and green crocodile transfer on the left chest lets everyone know your favorite brand. Contrasting panels on the chest and arms add a sporty touch. Available color combinations are Red/Navy Blue/White or Navy Blue/White/Flashy Yellow.

Cooler days call for longer sleeves and Lacoste’s L.12.12 Polo Shirt lets you look good while keeping you warm thanks to the thick cotton piqué material. L.12.12 offers a classic fit and boasts a ribbed collar and armbands, 2-button placket and mother of pearl buttons. This men’s wardrobe classic brings a chic yet casual touch to your everyday outfits and ensures a comfortable, warm silhouette. The L.12.12 is available in 13 different colors and is a must have for cool weather golfers.

Another great crossover piece (that is from tennis to golf) is the Novak Djokovic Stretch Print Jersey Polo, the perfect complement to the Ceremony Track Jacket. This game-enhancing polo is sewn from their stretch jersey fabric that wicks moisture away from the body and promotes airflow, while the raglan sleeves let you optimize your range of motion. The ribbed polo collar and two-button placket add a stylish touch. The Lacoste croc on the left chest, Lacoste Sport logo on the right sleeve and Djokovic logo on the right sleeve identify the brand but what sets this polo apart is the abstract print on the front. It will get you noticed! The Stretch Print Jersey Polo is available in 3 color combos: Navy Blue/White, White/Navy Blue and Blue/White.

When the weather is as unpredictable as your next tee shot, Lacoste’s Women’s SPORT Breathable Stretch Zip Golf Jacket is a great choice. This mid layer garment oozes performance with built-in stretch, quick-dry technology and a softly brushed interior that adds insulating warmth. The Breathable Stretch Zip Golf Jacket features an Ottoman-trim collar and zipper closure with concealed front zip pockets. The contrast panels and Ottoman trim on the sides and sleeves are a nice touch and there’s a green crocodile transfer on the left chest. It’s available in a Red/Navy Blue/White color combination.

Golf dresses are making a comeback and Lacoste’s Fitted Color-Block Cotton Polo Dress is a can’t miss choice. It’s sewn from Pima cotton interlock fabric and features a ribbed polo collar with collar stand and concealed button placket. The abstract color-blocking design creates a stunning look.  There’s an embroidered green crocodile patch on the left chest.

Ladies, look and feel your best on the links in the SPORT Technical Wool Blend Golf Sweater. This V-neck golf sweater is sewn from technical wool blend yarns which provide warmth with optimal breathability. The striped and ribbed trims on the V-neck and sleeve ends are a classy touch and the green crocodile transfer identifies the brand. The Technical Wool Blend Golf Sweater is available in two color combinations: White/Navy Blue/Red or Navy Blue/White/Flashy Yellow.

Lacoste’s SPORT Technical Gabardine Golf Skirt is crafted from the company’s technical gabardine fabric and features a concealed side zipper for optimal freedom of movement. It’s available in a multitude of colors and is a piece that needs to be in every gal’s closet.

Whether you’re headed to the gym or simply running around town, Lacoste’s Women’s SPORT Signature Waistband Fleece Sweatpants offer supreme comfort . They’re made from soft two-ply fleece and feature a ribbon-trimmed waistband with slanted front pockets and elasticized cuffs. The embroidered green crocodile patch at the waist and 3D rubber grosgrain appliqué add a sporty look and identify the brand. These swanky fleece sweatpants are available in either Bordeaux/Black/White or Grey Chine/White/Black.

The V-neck Flowing Cotton Jersey T-shirt could easily become your go to Tee when the course is closed. The flow offers a feminine look, that’s perfect for running around town or lounging around in front of the TV. Whatever the occasion, this long-sleeved soft cotton jersey tee in will provide you with unbridled comfort. There’s an embroidered tone-on-tone crocodile appliqué on the chest. It’s available in either Black or Navy Blue.

These are just a few of Lacoste’s Fall 2019 pieces. See the entire collection at www.lacoste.com.
